Just back from a few hours out on the bikes with Matthew and his friend Luke.

We started in Rathfarnham village- up past the Merry Ploughboy and up to Masseys Woods bottom entrance.
From there up through Masseys Wood and out onto Kilakee Road - Up into Hellfire Wood and up to the Hellfire Club.

From there it was all down hill back trough Hellfire and back down through Masseys.

This was the first time Luke had been out with us in a while and did very well considering we covered about 20 km and about 420m of a climb.

This is the third evening this week I've been out. What weather...

I even mananged to play Badminton for 1 1/2 hours staright after the spin last night.

Paid the price this morning though as I couldn't move...

I'm thinking of taking part in the Dublin Blitz on Sunday...will just have to see what the legs are like on Saturday...

Decide to do my first proper race a few weeks ago in Balinastoe as part of the BIKING BLITZ organised by Biking.ie.

With a son who is probably twice as fast as me I've been under a bit of pressure to up my pace a bit.
The second fella is getting fast as well..
